I have been helping an elderly relative choose a mobility scooter from Active Mobility. Pressed for time, he rushed an order for a folding example with small wheels, no suspension and limited range. When it was delivered, it became clear that this wouldn't be up to the journeys he wanted to make on it. We returned to the shop and the staff went through the types of scooter very clearly and patiently. He eventually chose a more robust scooter that was better suited to his needs.The staff were superb in outlining the pros and cons of each type, and spent time ensuring that he was comfortable (in every sense) with his choice.I can't praise Active Mobility highly enough for their care and professionalism in matching person to vehicle.

Arriving in Weymouth for day out with my husband and dog, my mobility decided not to work. We contacted Active Mobility, explained our situation and they told us to come straight over. We had expected to hire a mobility scooter, instead, they took a look at mine and after about 15 mins, got it working!! We were so pleased and so very grateful to them. We were then able to go off and enjoy our day out with no further mobility scooter issues. Great service. Super friendly staff. Fabulous range of mobility scooters and everything you need if, like me, you are disabled and/or have mobility issues. Thank you guys.

One part in particular was very hard to find and was not on their parts list or on any other that I tried. I sent photos and a description to Richard and eventually, after much research, he managed to source the part and it is now on their online parts list.I received them promptly by post and my scooter is now working well with none of the rattles.Thank you so much Richard, for all your efforts on my behalf. I’ve just been to the shop. I’m away visiting my daughter’s and I had a problem with my powered wheelchair. I rang the shop and they said I could take it for them to look at. Parking was very easy, the car park is very close to the shop. I went in and saw a young man Ben who looked at it and said it was a battery problem. Took it off and it was definitely the battery. Ben even showed me the battery and I could see that the battery had had it. Ben was really helpful and friendly. As I visit my daughter quite often I’m going to book my wheelchair in for a service instead of taking it into the one where I live as it’s difficult to get to. It’s really good to know even when I’m away I can get my chair looked at if I get a problem while I’m here. I would highly recommend them. I would have given more stars had there been more.

Great customer service from the team. They helped to source a new battery for my scooter and safety sticker I needed to be able to take the battery on a plane. No fuss or hassle. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic service from start to finish, the mobility scooter was clean and tidy when picked up and was fully charged to go. They showed us how to collapse it and put it in the car. Outstanding service. Even as I incorrectly ordered a wrong part, Richard from Active Mobility worked hard, even at odd hours, to help me locate and buy (from another supplier) a charger that would work with my son's power chair. Can't thank him enough for his help.

We are from NZ and hired equipment for a holiday in Sydney recently. I was able to easily organise what equipment I needed before we arrived. Email communication by Active Mobility was always prompt and friendly. Their delivery and collection service was very efficient. Such a wonderful place to buy anything you need for help with mobility. We bought a lightweight wheelchair a couple of years ago and have never looked back. Really friendly, lovely and knowledgeable service. Just had 2 walking sticks cut to size. Quick, efficient and lovely. 😇🥰
